The captain yelled, “Dolphins!” as he pounded the boat’s side. The crew and everyone else hurried to the bow of the boat just in time to witness a massive group of dolphins leaping out of the sea. As we witnessed these stunning creatures soar nine meters into the air and out of the waves, we could not stop smiling.
From snorkeling with ferocious hammerhead sharks to witnessing 150-year-old giant tortoises in the wild, a journey to the Galapagos, a chain of islands on the equator in the Pacific, will include many incredible “Galapagos moments.” We will go over how to organize, plan, and have fun on a vacation to the Galapagos in this blog.

The Galapagos Islands’ fauna
Its main draw is the Galapagos Islands’ fauna! Any island you visit will contain animals, but if you have a favorite, like the hammerhead shark or the Galapagos penguin, you should aim to schedule your trip around the areas where you are most likely to see them.
Numerous animals found in the Galapagos are endemic, which means they are unique to this planet. Many of the creatures in the Galapagos are not afraid of people because there are not many predators there. Some, like the superstar Galapagos sea lions, are playful and curious animals which are likely to come over and take a good look at you!
